Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Account Manager to lead relationships with Data Center Operators and shape our global data center strategy.

You will define strategy, negotiate terms, and drive cost savings while ensuring scalable, high-density deployments. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to review performance, plan upcoming projects, and optimize capacity across regions, balancing commercial and technical constraints to deliver reliable, high-performance edge

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
Bachelor's degree in Data Center Account Management or related field.
Excellent commercial and contractual negotiation skills.
Strong data analysis skills and ability to manage complex projects.

Responsibilities

Develop relationships with Data Center Operators to meet Akamai's deployment needs.
Organize regular business reviews with Data Centers to plan upcoming projects.
Analyze the Data Center landscape to identify favorable terms.
Collaborate with Partners and Vendors to secure cost-effective relationships and execute agreements.
Lead contract negotiations to ensure scalable platforms for customers.
Coordinate with provisioning teams to upgrade capacity timely and effectively.
