Job summary

Dollar General Corporation seeks a Sr. Manager to lead the daily operations of multiple enterprise data centers and DC server rooms in Nashville. You will oversee the Operator Services team, coordinate with DC Facilities, and act as a primary stakeholder for the enterprise NOC and IT Disaster Recovery programs.

You will drive capacity planning, vendor management, and cross-team collaboration to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient data center operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Working knowledge of enterprise batch job scheduling and DCIM tools.
• Knowledge of data center hardware and IT disaster recovery best practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data center planning, environmental monitoring, and capacity planning for multiple enterprise data centers and DC server rooms (25%).
• Coordinate IT capacity planning with Applications Development and Infrastructure teams (25%).
• Manage Operator Services team performance and development (20%).
• Provide oversight of enterprise production scheduling (5%).
• Coordinate daily job processing and ensure smooth execution (5%).
• Serve as key stakeholder for the enterprise NOC (5%).
• Participate in strategic IT projects to provide input and support (5%).
• Represent Operator Services and Data Center Operations in the Business Continuity Program (5%).
• Manage vendors and budget planning for multiple cost centers (5%).
