Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, and retain qualified employees according to labor laws and policies; ensure proper staffing.
• Provide training for employees; conduct performance evaluations; identify gaps and counsel or terminate.
• Make recommendations regarding employee pay rate and advancement.
• Communicate performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinate meetings and events to ensure safety and policies.
• Open and close the store as required; maintain weekly coverage.
• Evaluate operating statements to identify sales trends, profitability, and efficiency opportunities.
• Oversee ordering and inventory management, including BSR and cycle counts.
• Ensure proper merchandising, pricing and signage; maintain stock and presentation standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory and cash controls; ensure security and loss prevention.
• Deliver superior customer service leadership and a clean, safe store environment.
• Ensure tools and equipment availability and adherence to SOPs and deadlines.
