• Provides proper training for employees; conducts performance evaluations; identifies gaps for counseling or termination as needed.
• Makes recommendations regarding employee pay rate and advancement.
• Communicates performance, conduct and safety expectations regularly; coordinates meetings and events to ensure safety and policies.
• Ensures the store is opened and closed properly; maintains staffing coverage.
• Evaluates operating statements to identify trends in sales, profitability, and turn; controls expenses.
• Manages ordering and inventory to meet in-stock targets and review weekly plans.
• Facilitates merchandising, pricing, and signage to maintain presentation standards.
• Maintains accurate inventory levels and cash handling integrity.
• Leads superior customer service; maintains a clean and safe store environment.
