Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Ohio seeks a senior leader to oversee data center operations across multiple facilities. You will direct Area Managers and Facility Managers to ensure 24x7 reliability and mission-critical uptime, while partnering with global teams on standards.

The role requires strong leadership, deep MEP infrastructure knowledge, and a track record of managing complex technical operations. You will drive efficiency, safety, and cost controls in a high-stakes environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years management experience in operations/critical infrastructure.
• 3+ years LEAN/6 Sigma implementation (DMAIC, 5 Whys, RCA).
• 3+ years working with data center cabling, optics, and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Hire, manage, and develop the operations management team across multiple facilities.
• Establish performance benchmarks and prepare reports on facility ops and maintenance.
• Oversee on-site 24x7 shift techs, sub-contractors, and vendors to contract standards.
• Lead energy efficiency initiatives and capacity planning for clusters.
• Coordinate with regional/global teams on initiatives and SOPs.
