Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Infrastructure Operations team in delivering reliable data center services. You will supervise facility infrastructure teams, align safety and availability goals, and drive efficient operations across multiple sites.

The role requires deep understanding of data center IT and facilities, proven leadership, and the ability to scale operations while prioritizing customer experience and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience delivering design solutions for large scope projects.
• Experience managing large teams across locations or as an operations manager.
• Strong written and verbal communication with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Hire, manage, and develop the operations management team across facilities managers and engineering operations technicians.
• Achieve performance goals for safety, security, availability, scaling, and efficiency in data center operations.
• Plan and execute infrastructure projects including mechanical/electrical/plumbing for new/expanded data centers.
• Oversee maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and controls systems and change management.
• Vendor management for data center services to meet SLA targets.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and schedule adherence.
• Balance insourcing/outsourcing of maintenance tasks with internal skills and cost.
• Lead incident response and continuous improvement of processes.
