Job summary

You will mentor staff, sponsor projects, devise strategies, and drive technical solutions while coordinating hardware and network diagnostics and participating in an on-call rotation. The role requires travel between data center locations, leadership of diverse teams, and ensuring KPIs are met.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of operations and on-call support for data center facilities or production facilities.
• 4+ years of IT experience, or Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
• 2+ years of people management experience.
• 2+ years of operations and on-call support for data center facilities, mission critical plants, or production facilities experience.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign trouble tickets to data center technicians and operators.
• Manage the performance of a diverse team of data center operation professionals across locations.
• Recruit and train data technicians to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
• Oversee day-to-day data center operations and shift arrangements.
• Lead large-scale outages and act as call leader.
• Improve workflows and throughput of data center operations.
• Document and enforce policies to meet SLAs.
