Job summary

Gilbane Building Company is seeking a Senior MEP Manager to lead and mentor MEP teams on multiple data center projects, working with Project Managers and Project Executives to define regional needs. The role sits primarily on the job site with some travel for trainings and meetings.

You will drive critical decisions, oversee MEP systems, and ensure safety and quality on complex projects while building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 15+ years of related field experience.
• Experience supervising on large projects.
• OSHA 30-hour certification.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor MEP teams across multiple projects.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and MEP staff to understand needs.
• Oversee MEP-GMP preparation.
• Develop and implement the Project Execution Plan.
• Lead buyout, installation, and testing of control systems.
• Build long-term relationships with clients for repeat business.
• Manage career development and coaching of team members.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Collaborate with business development to align with sales strategies.
