Job summary

Gilbane Building Company seeks a Senior MEP Professional - Data Center to originate and lead all MEP processes on a data center project. You will drive installation, commissioning, and coordination with design teams and owners, while guiding a team and promoting a safe, inclusive work environment.

The role? 5–10 years of experience, Bachelor’s or Master’s in engineering, OSHA-30 preferred, with strong leadership and BIM/3D modeling capability. Multiple US locations, including Ohio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of engineering experience in construction or MEP projects.
• Data center field construction experience preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Originates MEP scopes and leads scope review meetings.
• Develops MEP installation and commissioning activities within the project schedule.
• Trains others on MEP systems.
• Determines MEP subcontracting strategies for projects.
• Develops MEP bid package schedules with design team and owner input.
• Tracks progress of MEP coordination to meet contract requirements.
• Coaches and mentors team members and supports inclusive work environment.
• Collaborates with BD to align sales strategies and client deliverables.
