Job summary

CoreSite, LLC invites qualified professionals to join their Data Center Interconnection team in a senior engineering capacity. You will design and implement interconnection architectures, integrate DCIM into workflows, and support multi-site operations with a focus on reliability and scalability.

The role requires leadership, independent work, and strong communication to coordinate across field ops, IT, and vendors. Remote-eligible with travel to data centers as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data center interconnection design and operations.
• 2+ years of experience with managing physical cable plants.
• 2+ years of experience with DCIM tools.
• Experience running MDF/IDF architecture.
• Experience in multi-tenant data center environments.
• Preferred experience in data center or telecommunications industry.
• Preferred experience TIA/EIA environments.
• Two year college/trade education preferred

Responsibilities

• Design and architecture of interconnection technology needs with emphasis on optimizations and high availability.
• Implement DCIM platform into production workflow.
• Occasional travel to data center sites for planning and support.
• Attend industry trade shows as needed.
• Establish and maintain testing standards for interconnection products.
• Improve processes related to interconnection product delivery.
• Establish engineering standards for MDF/IDF and outside plant connectivity.
• Provide training to new hire field operations personnel and SMEs.
• Produce network topology diagrams for internal needs.
