Job summary

CoreSite, LLC seeks an experienced Data Center Interconnection Specialist to design, engineer, and implement internal and external interconnection architectures across a multi-site environment. You will lead DCIM integration, support field operations, and coordinate with IT and vendors to ensure data integrity and scalable capacity.

Responsibilities

• Design and architecture of current and future interconnection technology needs with emphasis on optimization and high availability.
• Implementation of DCIM platform into production workflow.
• Occasional data center site travel for planning, installation or support needs.
• Attend industry trade shows as needed.
• Establish testing standards for interconnection products.
• Improve processes related to interconnection product delivery.
• Establish engineering standards for MDF/IDF/intra-building connectivity and outside plant.
• Provide training to new hire field operations personnel and SMEs.
• Produce network topology diagrams for existing and new infrastructures for sales, customers, marketing, and other internal needs.
