Job summary

CoreSite, LLC seeks a Data Center Interconnection Specialist to design, implement, and optimize interconnection technologies across multi-site environments. You will lead DCIM integration into production workflows, set MDF/IDF standards, and coordinate with field operations for capacity and new builds.

The role requires 5+ years in data center interconnection design, strong leadership, and ability to manage complex projects in multi-tenant facilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data center interconnection design and operations.
• 2+ years managing physical cable plants.
• 2+ years using DCIM tools.
• Experience running MDF/IDF architecture.
• Experience in multi-tenant data center environments.
• Preferred experience in data center or telecommunications industry.
• Preferred experience TIA/EIA environments.
• Two year college/trade education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and architecture of interconnection technology with emphasis on high availability and new products.
• Implement DCIM platform into production workflow.
• Occasional travel to data center sites for planning, installation, or support needs.
• Attend industry trade shows as needed.
• Establish and maintain testing standards for interconnection products.
• Improve processes related to interconnection product delivery.
• Establish engineering standards for MDF, IDF, intra-building and outside plant connectivity.
• Provide training to new hire field operations personnel and SMEs.
• Produce network topology diagrams for internal teams and customers.
