Job summary

CoreSite is seeking a Data Center Interconnection Specialist to join our network engineering team. You will design, engineer, and implement interconnection solutions across multi-site environments and drive the DCIM platform integration into the order workflow.

You will coordinate with field operations, IT systems, and vendors to maintain data integrity and support MACD processes, while leading medium to large projects and delivering reliable connectivity architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and architecture of interconnection technology for current and future needs.
• Implement DCIM platform into production workflow.
• Occasional travel to data center sites for planning, installation, or support.
• Attend industry trade shows as needed.
• Establish and maintain testing standards for interconnection products.
• Improve processes related to interconnection product delivery.
• Establish engineering standards for MDF, IDF, intra-building and outside plant connectivity.
• Provide training to new hire field operations personnel and SMEs.
• Produce network topology diagrams for sales, customers, marketing and internal needs.
