Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Architect to design and deliver complex data center and cloud infrastructure, spanning network, compute, telephony, and databases. You will ensure performance, security, and scalable operations, while guiding vendors and IT partners.

Applicants should have a degree or significant experience, 5+ years in related fields, and the ability to work in a Hybrid Flex environment with leadership exposure in enterprise IT strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required/preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 7+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently plan, architect, and deliver complex infrastructure designs supporting network, compute, telephony, platform, middleware, and database solutions.
• Own technology currency, lifecycle management, and capacity planning to meet SLAs.
• Define and maintain hardware and software performance standards for scalability and resilience.
• Provide expert guidance on emerging technologies and partner with key vendors.
• Lead licensing, budgeting, and capacity initiatives for datacenter technologies.
