Giga Energy is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to serve as the on-site technical representative for data center cooling and HVAC systems. You will lead field oversight from construction through commissioning, ensuring designs are implemented per intent and coordinating with engineers, constructors, and operations teams.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in hydronic/HVAC design, strong problem-solving skills, and willingness to travel to multiple project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of mechanical engineering experience in hydronic and HVAC systems.
• Experience reviewing drawings, specs, submittals, RFIs.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex field mechanical/HVAC problems.
• Willing to travel and work full-time on-site at construction sites.

Responsabilités

• Serve as on-site design engineering representative through construction, startup, commissioning.
• Review field installations for compliance with drawings and codes.
• Coordinate with architects, electrical, controls, and vendors.
• Support commissioning and startup activities, testing and balancing.
• Identify constructability issues and resolve RFIs and field questions.
• Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
