Giga Energy is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to serve as the Design Engineering team’s full-time technical representative at active construction sites. The role focuses on ensuring mechanical systems align with design intent, resolving field issues swiftly, and maintaining strong technical ties between engineering and on-site activities.
The candidate should have extensive experience with hydronic and HVAC systems, including direct-to-chip liquid cooling and data center cooling,
Competenze
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of mechanical engineering experience in hydronic and HVAC systems.
- Strong knowledge of hydronic system design, piping, pumps, heat exchangers, controls, and ventilation requirements.
Mansioni
- Serve as on-site senior engineering representative during construction, startup, and commissioning.
- Ensure field installations meet design intent and project objectives.
- Review field changes and provide technically sound recommendations to the design team.
- Provide oversight of cooling systems, including data center hydronics, CDUs, and high-density cooling.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and commissioning teams to support troubleshooting and commissioning.
