Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Fire Protection Engineer to lead fire protection across data center programs. You will guide design, analysis, and standards, coordinating with clients, architects, and AHJs to ensure reliable, code-compliant solutions.

You will mentor junior staff, contribute to business development, and shape the future of our data center fire protection capabilities with innovative approaches and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 15+ years of fire protection engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience as technical lead or SME.

Responsibilities

• Lead fire protection design and code analysis for data center projects.
• Develop design criteria, basis of design reports, and standards.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and interface with clients and AHJs.
• Mentor junior engineers and support business development in data center market.
