Job summary

JLL in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Critical Facilities Manager for Data Centers to oversee daily operations, maintenance, and optimization of data center facilities. You will lead technical teams to ensure reliability, security, and efficiency of critical infrastructure, while coordinating with IT on upgrades and capacity planning.

The role requires 5+ years in data center management, strong leadership and communication, and a focus on energy efficiency and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data center operations and management.
• In-depth data center infrastructure knowledge (power, cooling, network).
• Experience with Work Order Management Systems; Corrigo knowledge preferred.
• Strong focus on energy efficiency and sustainability in data centers.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Preferred certifications such as CDCP, DCPRO or CDCS.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for critical infrastructure across data center facilities.
• Lead engineering teams in root cause analysis and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with IT to plan upgrades and expansions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts for equipment and services.
• Analyze data center performance metrics and drive efficiency improvements.
• Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Supervise and mentor facilities team members.
• Participate in capacity planning and budgeting processes.
