Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) seeks an experienced Data Center Facilities Manager to lead maintenance and operations for a critical facility in Richardson, TX. The role focuses on uptime, safety, and collaboration with IT, security, and property teams to deliver high-performance services.

You will oversee staff, schedule preventive maintenance, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining documentation, budgets, and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant work experience in critical Data Centers.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in a senior supervisory role within a critical Data Center.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in applicable engineering field or mechanical field desirable.
• Proficient in electrical systems fundamentals, UPS Systems, generators, electrical switchgear.
• Proficient in mechanical systems fundamentals, chillers systems, building automation and control systems.
• Proficient in raised floor critical operating environments and associated procedures and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Continuous assessment of facility infrastructure and processes to avoid unplanned outages.
• Maintain adherence to Critical Environment Management program and safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance documentation is maintained and up to date.
• Coordinate with IT Hardware Planning, Security, Janitorial, Mail Services, Energy Management and Property/Project Management teams.
• Recruit and develop technical staff to support the critical facility and meet KPIs.
