Job summary

Unity Compass is seeking a Data Center and Enterprise IT Operations Lead in Quantico, VA to supervise 24x7 IT operations, data center engineering, and cybersecurity support in a mission-critical environment. You will interface with Government and contractor personnel to ensure reliable, secure services.

The role requires 10+ years of IT experience, 3+ years in supervisory roles, DoD RMF processes, and Security+/MCSE qualifications with TS/SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive IT experience operating and supporting computer systems.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a 24x7 operational environment.
• Demonstrated experience in data center engineering and operations.
• Proficiency with virtualization, SAN/NAS, email, and desktop services.
• Familiarity with RMF continuous monitoring and system security.
• DoD 8570.01-M ITA III requirements met and relevant certifications.
• Active TS/SCI clearance eligibility at contract start.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 24x7 enterprise IT and data center operations staff.
• Plan and oversee operating systems and systems software implementation.
• Lead incident response, troubleshooting, and service restoration.
• Support engineering and maintenance of enterprise data center infrastructure.
• Coordinate with Government personnel, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Maintain RMF continuous monitoring and security compliance activities.
• Prepare technical documentation and performance reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve availability, reliability, and efficiency.
