Job summary

DMI (Digital Management, Inc.) is seeking a Data Center and Enterprise IT Operations Lead to oversee the operation and support of computer systems for large-scale environments in a Quantico, VA setting. The role requires managing a broad range of technologies and ensuring rapid resolution of incidents.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years progressive experience in operating computer systems, including at least three years of supervisory and management experience in 24/7 operational environments and experience engineering a data center.
  • Broad experience with virtualized environments, managing SANs/NAS devices, email services, desktop services, and related computing technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service at all organizational levels.
  • Required certifications: Security+, MCSE, CISSP; DoD 8570.01‑M ITA III requirements and CISSP preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises all personnel engaged in operation and support of computer systems and peripherals for large-scale operations.
  • Supervises and participates in complex OS, systems software planning and implementation, and production support activities.
  • Interfaces with Contractor and Government personnel; confers with equipment and software vendors; directs subordinate personnel to take action.
  • Provides security operations or coordinates security operations in support of RMF continuous monitoring.
  • Writes, edits, and prepares graphical presentations of technical information.
  • Manages and operates a centralized service desk.
  • Oversees User Support and Help Desk Specialists resolving request/problem incidents.
  • Ensures all tickets are properly resolved as quickly as possible.
  • Coordinates technical support from other admins and developers as required.
  • Measures effectiveness of incidents to determine resolution rates and potential system-wide issues.

  • Supervises and participates in complex operating systems, systems software planning and implementation, and production support activities.
  • Interfaces with Contractor and Government personnel, confers with equipment and software vendors, and directs subordinate personnel to take appropriate courses of action.
  • Provides security operations or coordinates security operations functions in support of the cybersecurity accreditation‑risk management framework (RMF) continuous monitoring process.
  • Writes, edits, and prepares graphical presentations of technical information.
  • Manages and operates a centralized service desk.
  • Oversees User Support and Help Desk Specialists resolving request/problem incidents.
  • Ensures all tickets are properly resolved as quickly as possible.
  • Coordinates technical support from other administrators and developers as required.
  • Measures the effectiveness of incidents/problems to determine resolution rates and potential system‑wide issues.
Qualifications
  • Education & experience: minimum ten (10) years progressive experience in operating computer systems, including at least three years of supervisory and management experience in 24/7 operational environments and experience engineering a data center.
  • Broad experience with virtualized environments, managing SANs/NAS devices, email services, desktop services, and related computing technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service at all organizational levels.
  • Required certifications: Security+; Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE); Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Position must meet DoD 8570.01‑M ITA III requirements and CISSP is preferred.
  • Security clearance: eligible and adjudicated to TS/SCI clearance level at contract start.
  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizen.
  • Physical requirements: none.
  • Location: Quantico, VA.
