Job summary

Candidates should have TS/SCI clearance and experience with security compliance and fast-paced enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance w/polygraph.
• DoD 8140 Certification such as Security+ or higher.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
• 3-8 years of experience, primarily in Data Center infrastructure Operations support and server administration in a mid‑sized environment (200 - 1000+ server systems)
• Must have demonstrated expertise in two or more of these areas: Power Capacity allocation – high and low density racks; Incident management and resolution on outages; Systems administration (Linux and/or Windows Servers); Networking (DNS, TCP/IP).
• Solid understanding of data center design, commissioning and operations best practices; examples of process improvement; attention to detail; excellent communication; process adherence; influencing skills.
• Ability to work independently, with little direct management; experience supporting large enterprises in an Operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical liaison between technology teams and the Data Center Environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data center infrastructure issues.
• Proactively monitor the customer environment by checking system logs and ticket queues; consult with other groups.
• Create and maintain documentation on technologies you support.
• Recommend corrective actions to resolve system errors and performance issues; take action to implement improvements.
• Execute small projects independently and collaborate on larger local projects; drive process improvements and automation.
