Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Engineer for its Advanced Manufacturing group, with location flexibility across the U.S. You will help design data center power distribution, UPS, grounding and low voltage systems, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team on complex facilities.

The role emphasizes design quality, client interaction, and on-site support, with opportunities for career growth and mentorship in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 6 year experience in engineering design of medium and low voltage distribution systems
• Extensive knowledge of and experience with industrial facility design
• Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
• Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design for data center facility power distribution systems, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting and low voltage communications
• Collaborate with multi-discipline team to establish design requirements and produce construction documents
• Interact with client, owner and contractors to support on-site construction
• Perform quality reviews of design packages and manage scope
• Support project budget and schedule through project delivery and mentorship
