Harbor Compute in the United States is seeking a Senior Data Center Controls Engineer to set the controls standard across our AI-focused campuses. You 4ll own BMS, EPMS and PLC/SCADA design from concept through commissioning into operations, coordinating with mechanical, electrical, network, construction teams and vendors.

In the first year you l establish a portfolio-wide controls standard and drive campuses to design and commission against it, reporting to the Chief Infrastructure Officer with

Qualifications

• Bachelor7s degree in electrical, mechanical, controls or computer engineering.
• 10+ years of controls engineering in mission-critical or data center environments.
• Hands-on experience designing, programming and commissioning BMS/EPMS/PLC/SCADA.
• Knowledge of data center mechanical/electrical controls and OT networks.

Responsabilités

• Lead controls design for new campuses and expansions, including BMS, EPMS, PLC/SCADA and branch circuit monitoring
• Own the controls basis of design, standards, points lists, naming conventions and reference architectures
• Write and review sequences of operation for chilled water plants, air handling, economizers and liquid cooling
• Define controls redundancy, network architecture and protocols (BACnet, Modbus TCP, SNMP, OPC UA), and IEC 62443
• Direct engineers, integrators and vendors from drawings to commissioning and testing
• Lead the controls scope of construction and integrated commissioning (L1-L5)
• Serve as the controls authority, mentor junior engineers and improve PUE/WUE using trend data
