Job summary

Yates Construction in Little Rock seeks a General Superintendent to lead the full construction lifecycle of mission-critical data center projects with Project Managers and Executives. You will plan, coordinate, sequence, and manage site logistics for high-density, high-redundancy environments.

As the senior field leader, you will oversee day-to-day operations, safety, scheduling, commissioning readiness, quality, and turnover to ensure a compliant, on-schedule data center facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent education, training, or experience may substitute for a degree.
• Minimum of twelve (12) years of construction experience, with at least several years in mission-critical or highly complex MEP-intensive projects.
• Experience managing projects valued at $100M or greater (data center experience strongly preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and scheduling for mission-critical environments.
• Oversee complex MEP systems, redundancy strategies, and commissioning processes.
• Manage safety, quality, risk, and compliance across all project phases.
• Coordinate with owners, designers, and trade partners to ensure on-time project delivery.
• Mentor site superintendents and field staff, including performance evaluations.
