Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support a large-scale data center construction project for a leading technology client. The role covers inception through commissioning, with emphasis on consultancy, construction field experience and strong client-facing skills.

The candidate will lead pre-construction planning, budgeting, procurement, schedule management and close-out activities, coordinating with GC, AE and vendors on a complex program while adhering to EHS and SOX

• Experience in data center construction is preferred.
• SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Pre-construction / Design / Planning: work with GC and AE to create and establish the Master Project Schedule.
• Support establishment of the project budget, including soft costs and hard costs.
• Support contract negotiation, typically with Client’s PM and legal counsel.
• Coordinate Design Team activities and constructability review of project documents.
• Coordinate cost estimates with subs and vendors for scope gaps/changes.
• Construction: manage GC and other vendors with on-site construction management team.
• Ensure QA/QC and compliance with required standards; monitor EHS policies.
• Lead procurement activities and coordinate owner-furnished equipment.
• Provide reports tracking project financials, change orders and cashflow.
• Monitor schedule, tracking and document control processes.
• Close Out: drive close-out timelines, collect warranties, as-builts, O&M manuals.
