Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Connectivity Engineer to lead data center project construction, commissioning, and turnover across North America. You will coordinate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

The role focuses on mission-critical infrastructure, with responsibilities spanning planning, scheduling, risk management, and cost control. Based in New Albany, OH, this contract role requires travel and hands-on site leadership.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of experience in construction management, project management, operations, maintenance, or project planning.
• Experience managing data center, mission-critical, telecommunications, or infrastructure construction projects.
• Experience coordinating contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage onsite construction, commissioning, and turnover of data center projects.
• Support Lead Construction Managers with contractor, consultant, designer, and vendor management.
• Oversee retrofit projects within active data halls and new build-outs across a leased data center portfolio.
• Coordinate activities between contractors, consultants, QA/QC teams, and cross-functional partners.
• Lead project planning, scope development, sequencing, and execution strategies.
• Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules alongside Project Controls and Scheduling teams.
