Job summary

Black Box is seeking a Data Center Construction Manager to lead on-site execution of large-scale data center projects. You will own planning, safety, and field operations from kickoff through commissioning, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality compliance.

You will guide 100+ technicians, drive RFIs, and coordinate with PMs and procurement while upholding industry standards and customer requirements at our Rayville, LA sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5+ years of supervisory experience on large-scale data center projects.
• Experience managing 100+ field personnel on-site.
• Data center new build or retrofit experience preferred.
• Experience with union telecom crews and labor compliance preferred.
• Preferred OSHA-30, BICSI TECH, and BICSI RCDD certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety as Priority #1 and enforce Accident-Free Everyday culture.
• Direct data center construction operations, planning, scheduling, and logistics.
• Ensure compliance with ANSI/TIA, BICSI, NEBS and customer specs.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and field quality control processes.
• Manage and mentor large field teams, conduct hiring and performance reviews.
• Act as the client’s onsite construction operations liaison and resolve issues.
