Job summary

Black Box is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead large-scale data center construction projects onsite. You will own safety, schedule, cost, and quality from planning through commissioning while guiding 100+ field technicians, potentially across multiple sites.

The role requires deep knowledge of low voltage, fiber, structured cabling, and industry standards (ANSI/TIA, BICSI, NEBS). Daily presence on site with up to 15% travel is expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of supervisory experience on large scale data center construction projects.
• Experience managing 100+ dispersed field teams (union or nonunion).
• OSHA30 or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead jobsite safety standards, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Drive development and implementation of project plans, installation strategies, and site logistics.
• Maintain 5-week lookahead schedules and labor forecasts.
• Oversee daily field operations to meet production goals, budget, and schedule milestones.
• Serve as senior SME for data center low voltage, structured cabling, and fiber installations.
• Lead testing, commissioning, and quality assurance activities.
