Job summary

Overwatch Mission Critical is seeking a Senior Construction Manager (WSFO) to serve as on-site eyes and ears from pre-construction through testing and handover, documenting daily progress and site activity.

You will monitor MEP progress, manage contractor interactions (with GC only for oversight), track budgets and schedules, identify risks, and provide daily logs and updates to the team and design partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience (commercial, multifamily, office, or similar)
• Strong communication, client-facing, and presentation skills
• Relationship building and team collaboration skills
• Proven ability to project manage and multitask in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution from pre-construction through testing and final handover, documenting daily progress and job-site activity.
• Attend and facilitate meetings with the General Contractor, design team, and local utilities to stay current on project status.
• Review General Contractor pay applications and change order requests for accuracy and completeness; escalate overdue items.
• Identify and escalate potential risks - schedule, cost, safety, quality - to the team.
• Track and document progress on MEP work, including power and cooling infrastructure, through logs and trackers.
• Provide daily, unfiltered updates: logs, photos, and trackers, and participate in regular meetings with leadership and design teams.
