Job summary

Jobot is hiring a Data Center Commissioning Project Engineer (Senior Mechanical) for a fully remote role with travel up to 75%. The candidate will lead commissioning for data center projects, performing tests on mechanical and electrical systems and ensuring they meet design and code requirements.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of commissioning experience, a related engineering degree, and strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Data Center Commissioning experience (Electrical/Mechanical).
• Willingness to travel up to 75% for project work (expenses paid).
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experience diagnosing and solving construction and operational problems.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction observations and review contract documents.
• Develop functional test plans and execute tests for mechanical and controls systems.
• Lead commissioning activities to meet client expectations for budget and schedule.
• Support energy modeling/analysis and retro-commissioning as needed.
