Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Data Center Commissioning Project Engineer (Mechanical and/or Electrical) for full-time work with remote involvement and travel. The role requires hands-on data center commissioning experience and the ability to manage multiple projects to meet client expectations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Data Center Commissioning experience (Electrical/Mechanical).
• Willing to travel up to 75% for project work with expenses paid.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experience diagnosing and solving construction and operational problems.
• Experience managing design/energy services commissioning resources to scope, fee, and schedule.
• Knowledge of building codes and standards such as ASHRAE and LEED.
• Effective leadership and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing Data Center projects to meet client expectations for technical excellence, budget, and schedule.
• Perform construction observations and review contract documents.
• Develop functional test plans and execute tests for mechanical and controls systems.
• Execute retro-commissioning studies and energy projects for various clients.
• Contribute to design and energy modeling/analysis for complex buildings.
• Assess, optimize, and/or commission utility plants as needed.
