Job summary

Jobot is a Fortune 500 Engineering, Energy, and Infrastructure firm seeking a Data Center Commissioning Project Engineer (ME/EE) for a remote role. The position offers a competitive base salary with bonus and extensive benefits.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of data center commissioning experience, ability to travel up to 75%, and a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. You will lead commissioning activities, review designs, and ensure projects meet scope, cost, and schedule targets.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Data Center Commissioning experience (Electrical/Mechanical).
• Willingness to travel up to 75% for project work; expenses paid.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experience diagnosing and solving construction and operational problems.
• Experience managing design/energy services commissioning project resources to predefined scope, fee, and schedule.
• Knowledge of building codes and standards such as ASHRAE, LEED.
• Effective leadership and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing Data Center projects to meet client expectations for technical excellence, budget and schedule.
• Perform construction observations, review contract documents, develop functional test plans and execute tests for mechanical and controls systems.
• Execute retro-commissioning engineering/energy studies and contribute to design and energy projects.
• Engage in data center projects involving large building MEP systems design, commissioning, retro-commissioning, energy modeling/analysis and construction.
