Jobot is seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer with hands-on data center commissioning experience to support large-scale projects. The role offers full-time employment with remote work options and travel requirements up to 75% to client sites and project offices.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of data center commissioning, a Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Data Center Commissioning experience (Electrical/Mechanical).
• Willingness to travel up to 75% for project work, training, and inter-office business (expenses paid).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experience diagnosing and solving construction and operational problems.
• Experience managing design/energy services commissioning project resources to pre-determined scope, fee, and schedule.
• Knowledge of building codes and industry standards such as ASHRAE and LEED.
• Effective leadership and written/verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction observations for data center projects.
• Review contract documents and develop functional test plans.
• Execute tests for mechanical and controls systems.
• Contribute to retro-commissioning, energy studies, and design/energy projects.
