Jobot is seeking a Data Center Commissioning Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical) for full-time, on-site work in Dublin, OH. Remote/travel is involved to meet project needs, with responsibilities across commissioning, testing, and energy studies.

The role requires 2+ years in data center commissioning, travel readiness up to 75%, and a electrical/mechanical engineering background. A strong candidate will lead projects, diagnose issues, and ensure schedule and budget alignment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Data Center Commissioning experience (Electrical/Mechanical).
• Willing to travel up to 75% for project work (expenses paid).
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experience diagnosing construction and operational problems.
• Experience managing design/energy services commissioning projects.
• Knowledge of building codes and ASHRAE/LEED standards.
• Strong leadership and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing small to large Data Center projects to meet client expectations for technical excellence, budget, and schedule.
• Perform construction observations and review contract documents.
• Develop functional test plans and execute tests for mechanical and controls systems.
• Execute retro-commissioning energy studies and contribute to design/energy projects.
• Support utility plant assessment, optimization, and commissioning activities as needed.
