Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Cluster Operations Leader to oversee Data Center Clusters and Colocation Operations in the Canton, MS region. You will lead a senior team across DCO and DCEO functions, ensuring safety, availability and cost efficiency while driving continuous process improvements.

The role requires deep technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, compute platforms, and a track record of scaling operations in enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of management experience in datacenter operations or similar
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to hire, develop and manage distributed teams

Responsibilities

• Hire, manage and develop the operations team across compute and engineering managers
• Drive safety, security, availability, scaling, efficiency and cost goals
• Plan and execute data center and colocation expansions
• Oversee maintenance of mechanical, electrical and controls systems
