Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Civil Engineer / Senior Civil Engineer – Data Centers to join our Civil Engineering and Design team in the Environment & Health division. Hybrid work options exist in PA, WA, TX, or LA as the firm supports large-scale data centers and industrial sites.

You will lead site feasibility, planning, permitting, and design while coordinating with multiple disciplines and AHJs. A PE license is preferred, with 5+ years of civil/site experience and a focus on sustainable development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering with 5+ years of civil/site engineering experience.
• Strong project management and client coordination skills.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with AHJs.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering and land development services for data center and large industrial projects from site selection through construction.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, staffing, risk, client communication, proposals, and subconsultants across multiple projects.
• Direct technical work including site layout, grading, stormwater, drainage, utilities, access roads, erosion control, and permitting.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, agencies, and authorities while navigating codes and development standards.
• Review deliverables, mentor staff, support growth, and contribute to client development.
