Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Civil Engineer / Senior Civil Engineer to lead site feasibility, master planning, grading, drainage, utilities, and permitting for data centers and large industrial sites in the US. You will coordinate with AHJs and cross-functional teams to deliver compliant designs.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, 5+ years of experience, and likely PE licensure or comity. The position is hybrid with offices in PA, WA, TX, or LA, and offers a transparent salary range.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of civil/site engineering experience.
• PE license preferred with comity licensure in target states.
• Extensive land development and site civil design for large projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering and land development services for data centers and large industrial projects from site selection through construction.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, staffing, risk, client communication, proposals, and subconsultants across multiple projects.
• Direct technical work including site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, permitting, and erosion control.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, agencies, and authorities while navigating codes and development standards.
• Review deliverables, mentor engineers and CAD staff, and support team growth.
