Job summary

Ramboll US Corporation in the United States is seeking a Civil Engineer / Senior Civil Engineer to lead site feasibility, conceptual layouts, grading, drainage, and permitting for data centers and large industrial sites. You will coordinate with AHJs and multidisciplinary teams to deliver compliant designs.

The role requires a Bachelor's (or Master's) in Civil Engineering and about 5+ years of civil/site experience; a PE license is strongly preferred and licensure by comity in target states is

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering with 5+ years of civil/site engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred, with ability to obtain licensure by comity in target states.
• Extensive land development and site civil design experience for large, complex projects, ideally in industrial/logistics/manufacturing or mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering and land development services for data center, mission-critical, and large industrial projects from site selection through construction.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, staffing, risk, client communication, proposals, and subconsultants across multiple projects.
• Direct technical work including site layout, grading, stormwater, drainage, utilities, access roads, erosion control, and permitting.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, agencies, and authorities while navigating codes, permitting requirements, and development standards.
• Review technical deliverables, mentor engineers and CAD staff, support team growth, and contribute to client development and market expansion.
