Job summary

Ramboll US Corporation seeks a Civil Engineer / Senior Civil Engineer to lead site development for data centers and large industrial projects. This hybrid role supports Pennsylvania, Seattle, Texas, or Louisiana offices, and requires a bachelor’s or master’s in civil engineering with roughly 5+ years of relevant experience.

You will coordinate with AHJs, manage scope, schedule, budgets, and provide mentorship, with a PE license strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering with ~5+ years of civil/site experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred, with ability to obtain licensure by comity in target states.
• Extensive experience with land development and site civil design for large, complex projects.
• Experience working with AHJs and leading multidisciplinary teams; familiarity with permitting practices in PA, WA, TX, or LA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering and land development services for data center, mission‑critical, and large industrial projects from site selection through construction.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, staffing, risk, client communication, proposals, and subconsultants across multiple projects.
• Direct technical work including site layout, grading, stormwater, drainage, utilities, access roads, erosion control, and permitting.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, agencies, and authorities while navigating codes, permitting requirements, and development standards.
• Review technical deliverables, mentor engineers and CAD staff, support team growth, and contribute to client development and market expansion.
