Job summary

Greenberg & Larraby, Inc. seeks a Data Architect to design and manage our data architecture and framework, enabling innovative data systems. You will lead, model, and govern data stores to support operations and analytics across the organization.

The role requires 10+ years in data architecture, strong DBMS and data warehousing skills, and a track record of collaborating with diverse teams. A Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• U.S. citizens with no dual citizenship due to agency requirements.
• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or related field.
• Proficiency in DBMS and data warehousing solutions.
• Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data architecture strategies for optimal data management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze data needs and assess existing systems.
• Design and model database solutions supporting operations and analytics.
• Establish data governance, quality standards, and retention policies.
• Create metadata, data dictionaries, and technical documentation.
• Evaluate tools/tech for data integration, analytics, and visualization.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to data teams on best practices.
• Stay current with data tech trends to inform future architectures.
