Job summary

Greenberg & Larraby, Inc. seeks a Data & Information Architect to define data strategy, architecture, and information frameworks that support the organization’s objectives.

This role focuses on ensuring data is managed effectively to support business and analytical needs. In a proposal-phase project, you will design architectures, establish standards for data modeling and governance, and collaborate with stakeholders to meet current and future data requirements across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Citizenship required for agency/contract reasons; dual citizenship not permitted.
• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, information architecture, or related field.
• Strong experience with data modeling tools and techniques and data governance frameworks.
• Proficiency in database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and data integration tools.
• Demonstrated experience developing strategies for data management and analytics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with strategic thinking about data architecture.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive data architectures across the organization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data requirements into architectural designs.
• Establish standards for data modeling, quality, and management practices.
• Develop data flow diagrams, data dictionaries, and technical documentation.
• Evaluate new data management technologies and tools for integration.
• Work with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to ensure data availability for analysis.
• Promote data governance and data stewardship across the organization.
• Stay current with trends in data architecture and information management.
