Southern Company is seeking an Enterprise Data Architect to own the Azure Databricks Lakehouse for CIS data. You will shape architecture, governance, and integration patterns across data ingestion, replication, and analytics, ensuring secure, scalable data products and compliance with regulatory needs.

You will mentor teams, define standards, and partner with cybersecurity and business stakeholders to drive modernization and cost-effective operations across the CIS ecosystem.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related discipline and 8+ years in data architecture/analytics.
• Proven leadership in enterprise-scale Azure Databricks Lakehouse environments.
• Experience with data modeling, data governance, and security controls.

Aufgaben

• Lead end-to-end lakehouse architecture from ingestion to consumption and medallion design.
• Architect near-real-time and batch data replication and decide on CDC and streaming tech.
• Guide data models, standards, and metadata management across teams.
• Establish data quality, lineage, and security controls with Unity Catalog.
• Mentor data engineers and maintain architectural roadmaps.
