Job summary

Stryker seeks a Senior Principal Architect to own the enterprise data architecture strategy across Azure and Databricks Lakehouse, guiding design decisions and validating standards through working implementations.

The role partners with engineering, business leaders, and vendors to shape target state, set architecture governance, and ensure secure, scalable data platforms across the globe.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data engineering/architecture in large global enterprises
• Hands-on delivery with Azure and Databricks Lakehouse
• Experience architecting enterprise data platforms and pipelines
• Experience implementing data security and regulated environment controls

Responsibilities

• Define and own enterprise reference architecture and multi-year roadmap across Azure/Data Lake, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and BI experiences
• Publish design standards and reusable blueprints with reference implementations
• Co-chair architecture review board and manage design gates
• Lead architecture sessions and code reviews to steer toward approved patterns
• Establish data quality, testing, CI/CD, observability, and lineage standards
