Mphasis is seeking a Senior Data Architect to lead the design and optimization of our enterprise data ecosystem on AWS. You will architect data pipelines, data lakes/warehouses, and real-time streaming architectures powering core applications and analytics platforms.

The role emphasizes translating complex business rules into robust data solutions, guiding developers, and ensuring governance and security in a cloud-first environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT with at least 5+ years in data architecture, data warehousing and large-scale data engineering.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and Python for data manipulation and transformations.
• Experience with ETL automation and orchestration to build reliable data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to translate data requirements into robust designs.
• Design scalable cloud data structures and warehousing on AWS.
• Modernize on-prem data systems to cloud-native stores.
• Define data collection, transformation, storage and currency across the enterprise.
• Provide hands-on guidance with SQL, Python and complex transformations.
• Establish data governance, metadata management and security controls using AWS Lake Formation and Glue Data Catalog.
