Job summary

Pythian is seeking a Data Architect to join a globally distributed team and design impactful software powering enterprise data platform solutions with a focus on Cloud Platforms. You will create artifacts to automate data platform implementations and migrations, build data pipelines, and secure cloud data components.

You will collaborate with architects and consultants on complex cloud-based projects, translating requirements into detailed designs while writing high-performance code and enabling

Qualifications

• Design and development of end-to-end Cloud-based solutions with a heavy focus on application and data, and a good understanding of infrastructure.
• Working on complex and varied cloud-based projects including tasks such as collecting, parsing, managing, analyzing, and visualizing very large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of end-to-end Cloud-based solutions with a heavy focus on application and data, and a good understanding of infrastructure.
• Translating complex functional and technical requirements into detailed designs.
• Writing high-performance, reliable and maintainable code.
• Develop test automation and associated tooling needed for the project.
• Develop test scenarios and test cases based on requirements.
• Data pipelines development – ingestion, transformation, cleansing.
• Data flow integration with external systems.
• Foundational CI/CD for all infrastructure components, data pipelines, and custom data apps.
• Assisting client application developers and advising on efficient data access and manipulations.
