Cambia Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics Platform Engineering team as a technical lead. You will design, build, and optimize Snowflake-based frameworks and CI/CD pipelines to enable data engineering teams across Cambia.

The role emphasizes scalable, reusable solutions in a complex enterprise environment. You will mentor junior engineers, translate big-picture goals into concrete plans, and collaborate with product, QA, and partner teams to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• 7–8 years of data platform engineering or data engineering, with senior or lead-level experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field; equiv. experience considered.
• Experience with Snowflake, Python, and SQL stored procedures.
• Experience shaping scalable data & analytics platform solutions in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of technical projects and mentor junior Data Engineers.
• Architect, build, tune, and automate scalable Snowflake-based frameworks for Data & Analytics teams.
• Partner with Data Modeling to design scalable data models and warehouse layers.
• Optimize Snowflake performance, including query tuning and compute sizing.
• Ensure code quality, documentation, and platform observability.
