Job summary

Liftoff is seeking a Lead Data Analyst who will report to the VP of Analytics & Operations Supply. You will tackle complex analytical problems, define best practices, and mentor analysts while driving strategic insights for Liftoff’s supply-side initiatives.

You will write optimized SQL against massive datasets, build dashboards with Looker/Tableau, collaborate with Engineering, Product, Data Science, and Finance, and lead end-to-end analytics projects with business impact.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data analytics, consulting, or business analytics roles.
• Expertise writing complex, performance-optimized SQL on massive datasets.
• Strong grounding in statistical inference and A/B test design.
• Proficiency with Looker, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
• Ability to translate technical findings into business impact for leadership.

Responsibilities

• Drive analysis on highly complex, ambiguous questions; influence roadmap and decisions.
• Write and optimize complex SQL for billions of rows; develop reproducible analytics workflows.
• Conduct root-cause analysis at the intersection of product performance and KPIs.
• Build and automate dashboards and internal reporting pipelines using SQL, Looker, Tableau.
• Translate technical concepts into business impact for Commercial teams and leadership.
• Lead end-to-end analytics projects from ideation to rollout; mentor others.
