Job summary
Liftoff is seeking a Lead Data Analyst who reports to the VP of Analytics & Operations Supply. You will own the hardest analytical problems across Liftoff's supply side, write and optimize SQL on billions of rows, and develop reproducible analytics workflows, dashboards, and data-driven insights that impact performance.
You will mentor teammates and partner with Engineering, Product, Data Science, and Finance to drive initiatives, translate analyses into actionable business decisions, and
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or higher in Analytics or related field.
- 8+ years in data analytics, consulting, or business analytics roles.
- Expert in writing complex, performance-optimized SQL on massive datasets.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses: BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Trino.
- Proficient in Looker, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills; ability to defend recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct root-cause analysis and triage issues at KPI intersections.
- Build and automate dashboards and reporting pipelines using SQL, Looker, and Tableau.
- Incorporate ML model changes and SDK upgrades into business impact analysis.
- Lead transformational projects end-to-end from ideation to rollout.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, Data Science, and Finance to drive initiatives.
