Job summary

Liftoff is seeking a Lead Data Analyst to join our Analytics & Operations Supply team. You will report to the VP and tackle the hardest analytical problems, shaping analytics best practices, and mentoring analysts.

You will write complex SQL for massive datasets, build dashboards with Looker/Tableau, and partner with Engineering, Product, Data Science, and Finance to drive revenue and efficiency. This role is remote-friendly across many US states with a strong data-driven culture.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. in Analytics, CS, Engineering, Math, Economics, or related field.
• 8+ years in data analytics, consulting, or business analytics roles.
• Expertise writing complex SQL and cloud warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Trino).
• Strong knowledge of Looker, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
• Ability to translate data findings into business impact for leadership.

Responsibilities

• Drive analysis on complex, ambiguous questions influencing roadmap.
• Write and optimize SQL on billions of rows; create reproducible workflows.
• Build dashboards and reporting pipelines with SQL, Looker, Tableau.
• Mentor analysts on best practices and communication.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, Data Science, and Finance.
